The following online degree programs offer open enrollment to all students with English language proficiency and a high school diploma or GED. All of these undergraduate online degree programs are regionally accredited, the most widely accepted form of accreditation in the United States.

Ashford's generous transfer policy permits up to 90 credits, making it possible for students with substantial previous college experience to graduate in a year or two. The university offers 85 degrees at the associate, bachelor's, and master's level.
AIU Online (American InterContinental University)
Students at AIU focus on just one or two online courses for each five-week session. They also have access to online learning labs and individual virtual tutoring. Students can transfer up to 75 percent of previous academic credit toward a degree. AIU offers nearly 50 degrees and certificates at the associate, bachelor's, and master's levels.
Bellevue University allows students to transfer up to 60 credits toward a bachelor's degree. Additional credit may be extended for previous work experience or military service. Degrees are offered at the bachelor's, master's, and doctorate level, as well as certificates of education.
Capella University Online
With over 20,000 students enrolled and over 100 online degree programs to choose from, Capella University is one of the largest for-profit alternative learning colleges in the nation. Students may transfer previous credit from college courses and certification programs. About 50 degrees are offered at the bachelor's, master's, and doctorate level. Certificates of education are also offered.
DeVry University Online
DeVry offers courses taught by industry professionals to help students improve their employment prospects. Up to 80 credit hours can be transferred from qualifying institutions. Associate and bachelor's degrees, as well as certifications, are offered in 20 areas of study.
Kaplan University Online
Kaplan allows students to transfer credit from prior coursework, and also offers credit based on professional work or military experience. Students can also take exams to qualify for additional academic credit. The university offers degrees at the associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, as well as certificate programs, in more than 100 areas of study. In addition, Kaplan offers new students a three-week trial period when they enroll.
With no set class times, Northcentral students work with a mentor to complete coursework according to their own schedules. Students may earn bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, as well as certificates of education in more than 40 areas. Up to 60 credits may be transferred.
University of Phoenix
At the largest private institution of higher education, students are encouraged to stay employed while taking online courses. Students can transfer academic credit from past coursework or earn credit for professional work experience or military service. The university offers more than 140 programs at the associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate level, as well as certificates and single-course options.
